Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I provide a questionnaire?

Our questionnaire is essential for me to understand your dog's unique needs. Knowing their temperament, preferences, and any special requirements allows me to tailor my services effectively, ensuring the best possible care for your furry friend.

Why is there a meet and greet?

A meet and greet is an important step in the process to help understand your dog and build a personal connection. This interaction ensures I can provide the perfect care, guaranteeing a positive experience for both you and your pet.

Are you insured and certified?

Yes! I am fully insured and in the process of obtaining certification.

How do you ensure my dog’s safety during walks?

I prioritize the safety of all dogs on our walks. Each dog must wear a harness with a tag displaying their name and your phone number for identification. Harnesses are required as they offer better control and comfort than collars, reducing the risk of injury. I only walk non-reactive dogs in groups. These precautions ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all furry companions.

Will my dog ever be off leash?

No, I never walk dogs without a leash!

What if my dog has special needs or medical conditions?

While I'm not trained for dogs with special needs or medical conditions, I'm willing to walk them after a discussion during the meet and greet. Please note, I'm not trained in administering medication, but I'm open to following your proper and detailed instructions for their care.

Do you offer group walks only?

My goal is to walk four dogs at a time for one 20 minute session. However, individual walks are based on availability.

Does my pet need to be fully vaccinated?

Yes! To maintain the safety of all dogs and people, I require that all dogs in my care are fully vaccinated. If your dog is unwell, I kindly ask that they refrain from joining the walk to prevent any potential spread of illness to others. Thank you for helping me keep our walking community healthy and safe!

Do you charge for cancellations?

No, but please be kind enough to call at least 3 hours before the scheduled time of arrival.

What happens in case of inclement weather?

While I'm willing to let your dog out during inclement weather, safety is my priority. I won't walk your dog in below-freezing or icy conditions, as well as during thunderstorms. However, I'm comfortable walking your dog in the rain. It is up to the owner to provide any rain attire to ensure your dog comes back dry.

What areas do you service?

I only service within a 10 mile radius of Winfield Township, Indiana.

How do I pay for your services?

I used the invoicing service ____. After the walk week, I will email your invoice directly to you. There, you can follow the prompts and submit payment directly through that email.
